The Deep Learning Toolbox provides simple tools for designing and testing deep neural networks. It is easy to use and you can get started with deep learning in just a few minutes.

What is Deep Learning Toolbox?
Deep Learning Toolbox™ provides a framework for designing and implementing deep neural networks with algorithms, pretrained models, and apps. Using apps, you can quickly prototype systems such as image classification and object detection. With transfer learning, you can design neural networks using pretrained models that you can download from the web. Deep Learning Toolbox also supports multi-GPU training using standard convolutional neural networks (CNNs).

Supervised deep learning requires labeled training data to learn from, while unsupervised deep learning can learn from data that is not labeled. The Deep Learning Toolbox™ in MATLAB supports both types of deep learning.
This article describes the installation process for the Deep Learning Toolbox in MATLAB. You must have a license for Deep Learning Toolbox to use it. If you do not have a license, contact your MathWorks representative to get one.
If you have a license for the Deep Learning Toolbox, follow these steps to install it:
1. Start MATLAB and select the Home tab.
2. In the Add-Ons section, click Get Add-Ons.
3. In the Add-On Explorer window, enter “Deep Learning Toolbox” in the search box and press enter.
4. The search results include theDeep Learning Toolbox entry (click expand to see detailed information).
5 Click Try or Buy.
6 If you are using a trial license, click Continue without buying a license; otherwise, follow the prompts to purchase a license and activate your software using yourMathWorks Account credentials.. You can also use this process to activate your software if you already have a license but have not yet activated it.. Once you have purchased or activated your license, enter “Deep Learning Toolbox” again in the search box and click Install next to the entry in the search results..
Configuration is the second step after you have installed the Deep Learning Toolbox software. In this step, you set up the deep learning environment by adding folders to the MATLAB search path and downloading pretrained models.

Tips and Tricks
Here are some tips and tricks for installing Deep Learning Toolbox in MATLAB. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth installation.
1. Make sure you have a supported version of MATLAB. Deep Learning Toolbox is compatible with R2016b and later versions of MATLAB.
2. If you’re using Windows, be sure to have the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 installed on your system. This is required for some of the toolbox’s features to work properly.
3. Once you have the prerequisites installed, go to the Add-Ons section of MATLAB and click on the Get Add-Ons button.
4. Type “Deep Learning Toolbox” into the search field and press Enter. The search results will show the Deep Learning Toolbox by MathWorks as the top result. Click on it to go to the product page.
5. On the product page, click on the Add to Cart & Download button to add the toolbox to your MathWorks account. Once it has been added, you can download it by clicking on the Download button under My Downloads in your MathWorks account profile page.
6.Once the download is complete, unzip the file and run setupDLTbx to install the toolbox files into your MATLAB installation directory.
