Join us for The AWS Deep Learning Challenge and learn how to train a neural network to identify images.
Check out this video for more information:
In this challenge, you will be using Amazon Web Services (AWS) to build a deep learning model that can accurately classify images of handwritten digits. This challenge is designed to familiarize you with the AWS platform and the various services that can be used to build a deep learning model.
What is the AWS Deep Learning Challenge?
The AWS Deep Learning Challenge is a competition for developers and data scientists who are passionate about using deep learning to solve real-world problems. The challenge is designed to showcase the power of deep learning and its potential to revolutionize industries such as healthcare, finance, retail, and more.
Why participate in the Challenge?
The AWS Deep Learning Challenge provides an opportunity for you to demonstrate your skills in building and training deep learning models. The Challenge is open to anyone with a valid AWS account, and there is no cost to participate. To be eligible for prizes, you must submit a model that is trained and deployed on Amazon SageMaker. The top scoring entrants will be invited to present their work at the AWS re:Invent conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.
What are the benefits of participating in the Challenge?
The AWS Deep Learning Challenge offers a unique opportunity for participants to gain valuable experience and exposure to the latest tools and techniques in deep learning. By taking part in the Challenge, participants will be able to:
– Learn from and interact with some of the leading experts in the field of deep learning
– Gain access to exclusive training materials and resources
– hone their skills through a series of hands-on tasks and challenges
– earn impressive prizes and recognition
How to participate in the Challenge?
In order to participate in the AWS Deep Learning Challenge, you will need to create an account with AWS. Once you have done so, you will be able to access the challenge site. The challenge site will provide you with instructions on how to create your own deep learning environment. You will be given a specific set of data to work with, and your task will be to train a model that can accurately classify the data.
Once you have trained your model, you will be able to submit it to the challenge site. Your model will be evaluated against a set of unseen data, and the results will be used to determine the winner of the challenge.
What are the rules of the Challenge?
In order to participate in the AWS Deep Learning Challenge, you must first sign up for an AWS account. Once you have done so, you will be automatically registered for the Challenge.
The Challenge will run for a period of two weeks, during which time participants will be given access to a variety of resources, including data sets, tutorials, and competitions. At the end of the two-week period, the participant with the highest score will be declared the winner.
In order to be eligible for prizes, participants must complete at least one of the following tasks:
-Tutorial: Complete one of the tutorials provided by AWS.
-Competition: Complete at least one of the competitions hosted on the platform.
-Blog post: Write a blog post about your experience with deep learning on AWS.
What are the prizes for the Challenge?
The AWS Deep Learning Challenge offers a total of $100,000 in prize money, divided among the winners as follows:
-First place: $50,000
-Second place: $30,000
-Third place: $20,000
How will the Challenge be judged?
The Challenge will be judged by a panel of AWS experts based on the following criteria:
-Originality and creativity of the solution
-Technical difficulty of the solution
-Business value of the solution
-Feasibility of the solution
When is the deadline for the Challenge?
The AWS Deep Learning Challenge is a global competition that will run from June 1st, 2018 to August 31st, 2018.
